I don’t have much time for making things at the moment but I managed to find a bit  of time for some crochet and made this phone case for a friend who’s giving it as a Christmas gift. I used some lovely airforce blue Irish yarn with a red fleck (bought here) and some Rowan cashsoft light blue yarn, and crocheted them together in moss stitch for a soft but sturdy fabric.IMG_0086

Nice, no…?

Hi, it’s really easy but looks so nice. I’m using Uk crochet terms, a dc = an American sc.
Make a foundation chain of an odd number of stitches.
R1; Turn, make a dc in the 3rd chain from the hook, *ch 1, miss a stitch, dc in the next stitch*, and repeat from * to * to the end of the row. Ch 2, Turn.
R2;Sk 1st dc, *dc in ch1 space, ch 1, skip next dc* and continue repeating from * to * across to the end of the row, dc in last stitch, ch2, turn.
      Repeat R2.
      Hope that’s helpful!
